This fall is seeing the rise of the maxi skirt, I love the bohemian yet sophisticated look that it produces.

Alexander Wang has some great ones on his Fall 2010 runway. I love the use of velvet as well, I am definitely going to invest in some black cord or velvet jeans this season. (style.com)

IT"S A BANK HOLIDAY AND THE SUN WAS SHINING!

The weather in England has just been horrendous and the sun finally came out today so I seized the opportunity to put on my shorts and enjoy the sun.

A little inspiration...

I'm listening to John Mayer - Room for Squares Album and thinking how much the cover reminded me of David Hockey's work. So I decided that I would have a mess around with a photo of me and at the same time show today's outfit.

I studied Hockney in Art class, it's fun when you have loads of pictures of the same image at different angles because you can really portray the depth and almost make your image 3D.
